Service Description

This course will examine business processes and how organizations are improving them through technology. It will explore the benefits of mapping them out and will look at why automating steps of a process could be helpful. The basic ideas of change management, Lean, and DevOps will also be explored, including how they relate to digital transformation. What Will Students Learn?  Understand business processes, the purpose of mapping them, and how to do it.  Identify what aspects of processes can be improved through the addition of technology.  Understand the steps to take for automating parts of a process.  Grasp the basic principles of Lean and DevOps, including how they relate to business process transformation.  Appreciate the importance of customer and employee centricity in the redesign of business processes.
